Focus Exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham

Well the yearly event for all photographers, new & old, amateur & pro, is upon us again, and as Will and I haven't been for 3 years, decided it was due a visit.
It's also great for us to catch up with all our suppliers in one go and see all the latest products and gadgets that are round. We do like to keep up where possible!

We bumped into fellow photographers Simon, Mark, Andy N. and Leo which was great too. Andy Gordon was submitting for the MPA, so we didn't actually see him which was a shame but I hope it went well mate!

Oatlands Park Hotel Wedding Fair

Sorry for the lack of blogging this week-I don't know where the time had gone. Being half term too, George has been at home so haven't had as time to do as much as most days!

Today was Oatlands Park's wedding fair, and as always, such a great one. Free champagne and canapes is always a good thing if you ask me!

It was a really busy one too with over 130 brides I think-Melissa and Danielle from 'Your Surrey Wedding' the organisers may correct me on that, but a fabulous turnout whatever the exact figures-It was 4 O'clock before we knew it!

'From this Moment Bridal Studios' hosted the 3 fashion shows and they went really well. I think you'll all agree that the little Bridesmaid is utterly adorable! Well done girls!

And although we weren't near Kelly and Sharon form 'Love me Do Brides' we still had a laugh. With astronauts, berries and meatballs......! Good Luck with your sale day next week too girls!

Will was busy as ever chatting to couples as well as taking all the pictures. These are just a few of our favourites that show a good day was had all round.

Well done to all those who were involved in the organisation of what was as ever a very busy & succesful day for all involved. Sue, Bernice and all the team at Oatlands Park Hotel as well as Melissa and Danielle from Your Surrey Wedding. Can't wait to do it all again in the Autumn!

See you all at Painshill for our last fair this season, March 29th.

Bye for now!

Thorpe Park Wedding Fair

We were at Thorpe Park today, but alas, no riding the rollercoasters for us today!
It was the first time we have exhibited here and it was really good! A constant stream of couples made the day go quickly and it was great to catch up with fellow suppliers while the fashion shows were on. (always a pleasure John, never a chore!)
Kelly & Sharon from 'Love me Do Brides' were opposite us and I must say, I haven't laughed so much at a Wedding Fair before, so thanks girls! We must pitch up next to each other more often!!!
Steve Boys did a great job with the fashion show music and Anita and the 'Supernova' fashion show went down really well.
Four down and two to go... See you at Oatlands Park Hotel next week!

A Busy Week

Friday at last! (albeit the 13th...........?!!)
We've had a busy week this week, not so much shooting but plenty of meetings and enquiries to deal with for the coming season and next year which is good. Could be a record year this year!

And we still have 3 more wedding fairs to come.
We will be at Thorpe Park on Sunday, at Oatlands Park Hotel the following Sunday (22nd Feb) and then to Painshill Park on March 29th. So pop down if you can!

Have a good weeekend!
Sunday 8th February

As Painshill Park's wedding fair has been postponed until 29th March because of the snow, we have a day off to catch up with friends. Yippee!
And as my sister was let off the hook from babysitting duties, it was only fair we all turned up at hers for Sunday Lunch!!! Thanks Em!!!

Wedding at Oatlands Park Hotel- Jo & Pritesh

Saturday 7th February

Well after this week's weather (!) I'm delighted it's a beautiful day today and I'm off to shoot a wedding in Weybridge. First up it's to the groom at their home, where a lovely lunch for all the guests is provided!

After a few shots there its literally across the road to Oatlands Park Hotel where the beautiful and blossoming Jo is getting ready. We are nipping over to the Registry office before coming back for the drinks reception at Oatlands. It was a lovely initimate wedding with lots of laughter and the CUTEST bridesmaid in their daughter Elise. In fact there were lots of cute children there today which made my job even easier!!

Congratulations guys, and good luck with the new arrival!

Sandown Park Wedding Fair

Sunday 1st February
Will the snow start falling today.............? I hope not yet.......

Its freezing, and we're up early-luckily Will had packed the car already, and we're off to exhibit at Sandown Park's Wedding Fair. We're also taking a few shots for the events team and so have included a few below.

Its nice and busy given the cold temperatures with a constant stream of couples, and a few couples that had come especially to see us, which we were very flattered by, so thanks guys!! It was great to see you!

The Fashion show was held by Maid in Heaven today and was a brilliant success! Well done Sarah and all the girls!

We've got to drive to Kent straight after, to pick up George from Will's parents, so please snow, hold off a little longer...........................

Lauren's 21st Birthday Party

Saturday 31st January

After a great day came a fun evening, as we were shooting a 21st birthday party in Horsley organised by Azure Events. As always, a fantastic evening, with an 'Oscars night' Hollywood theme, complete with Marliyn Monroe, Vin Diesel, a mini Oscar Award Ceremony and topped off with a good old bit of Karaoke!

Will and I were 'paparazzi's at the start of the evening to give the coach load of guests that arrived a real feel of the red carpet they were walking on!

It was a great crowd, and as always, a brilliant night thanks to the Azure Team.

Engagement Shoot-Jemma & Henry

Saturday 31st January

The sun is shining and the sky is blue.... We couldn't have wished for better weather to photograph Jemma and Henry today up at Epsom Downs for their engagement shoot.

We had great fun-here are a few of our favourites, and hopefully you can't tell that it was bitterly cold!
